We do not require people to wear masks in church but if you want to wear a mask then that is completely fine.
We would ask that you avoid services at church for 5 days after a positive covid test or if you have symptoms of anything that could be spread by airbourne means (coughing or sneezing).
At communion services we have a choice.
Dipping or sipping.
Either you choose to join those for whom the wafers are dipped into the wine (intincting) and then handed out by the minister. This avoids drinking from the shared communion cup.
Or you can first be given the wafer and then sip from the communion cup in the traditional manner.
To simplify the procedure those dipping go to the altar first. The sidesperson will follow the last of those and everyone wanting the traditional format will follow.
If you are unable to easily reach the altar the wafer and cup will be brought to you where you sit. Please mention this need to the sidesperson when you arrive at church.
