Opening church during Covid 19 crisis – January 2021 update

Communal worship is still allowed under the latest government and C of E rules. However the Bishop of Lichfield has also decided that the requirement under canon  law that there must be at least one service of Holy Communion in every benefice each week, is suspended.

In the light of this and the rapidly rising threat that the new variant of the virus presents, your PCC has decided that we will have to stop having Sunday services until the situation improves.

Please tell everyone you can, especially those who do not look at websites and Facebook.

We are planning to make services that can be watched on-line for those who through covid-19 are unable to attend in person. If you are willing to take part in these – it involves talking/reading into your phone to make a video – and have your video shown as part of the service then please let me know.  johnpeterken@virginmedia.com                                   or text to:-   079808853996

During 2020, apart from the opening of the WEB, the church building has been smartened up. There is now more space available for seating so that we can keep properly spaced out. The audio system is clearer and very importantly, because we now enter through the WEB the church is WARMER!

Won’t it be great when we can go and experience that!
